Respond to Bordo's essay. Here are some questions to consider, but you do not have to answer each one. I just want to hear what you think about the essay. Did her tone surprise you? Do you agree with her points? How can this essay be updated? This response needs to be at least 300 words and you need to respond to at least one other person's post. Remember to start a new post in your blog, not an entirely new blog. In addition, do not put your answer in a "comment" to my blog. Make sure you are "following" me so that your blog response shows up in my "dashboard."

For the 3rd blog I'd like you to discuss whether or not your ideas about writing have changed. We have read several articles and talked at length about the writing process, the research paper, and incorporating quotations. What have you learned? If you don't feel as if you have learned much about writing, why not? How can I change this? What would you like to learn more about?

Please respond to the reading due for today, "Aims and Processes of the Research Paper." You can use the study guide for the reading as a way of getting into the blog. I am looking for your responses, questions, reactions.

Post Your Paper

Post your paper in your own blog. Do this by creating a new post, not a whole new blog. Create a new post by clicking on "new post" which should be located right next to where your email address is printed in the upper right hand corner of the screen. A new window will open and you will see where you can type in your post. If you absolutely can't figure it out, go to my blog and copy your paper into the comments area of my blog.
